But with an avalanche of Androids possibly being announced tomorrow, you may want to wait a few days and sleep on it - there should be plenty to choose from soon.
But for $99? You’ll be hard pressed to find another option in the same sport let alone ballpark.

Huawei 8220 Android smartphone via T-Mobile Europe/T-Mobile Pulse just received a Wi-Fi Interoperability Certificate. The Wi-Fi certificate doesn’t say anything about Android, but the Huawei 8220 is almost certainly an Android phone.
Pulse U8220 has just appeared on pre-order at a Dutch retailer’s website for €257 or equal to $366 (free of contract). Sadly, the phone is locked on T-Mobile’s network. The T-Mobile Pulse supports a 3.5 inch touchscreen display with 320 x 480 pixels, a 3.2MP camera, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps and HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, Wi-Fi, GPS, a MicroSD card and Bluetooth 2.0

T-Mobile launches Visual Voicemail app for Android! has been hard at work to bring Visual Voicemail to its Android smartphone user-base. The first wireless carrier to offer an Android smartphone has released a new Android app that finally makes Visual Voicemail a possibility. The app is now available as part of T-Mobile’s AppPack. Similar to the iPhone, Visual Voicemail on Android allows users to see voicemails in an inbox, complete with time of the call and the caller’s contact info.
The Visual Voicemail Android app is available, free of charge, through the Android Market. But, you’ll have to make a slight change to your T-Mobile Android data plan. Before downloading the app, you need to dial “611″ on your T-Mobile G1 and ask the customer service rep to enable Visual Voicemail. Then, simply download the app and allow it to sync with your new Visual Voicemail settings.

T-Mobile will be lining up HTC’s Touch Pro2 is pretty much similar to many other high end smartphones in the market, where it boasts an intuitive touchscreen display and a user interface that makes it a snap for customers to simplify their communication and mobile Internet experience while staying connected and informed at all times - subject to battery life, of course, as these kinds of high end devices tend to sap battery power like nobody’s business. Folks who want to pick up the HTC Touch Pro2 in mocha finish from T-Mobile can do so from August 12 onwards.
Easily making room for T-Mobile’s 3G network and helping you remain connected in most public places using built-in Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) connectivity, one can definitely tell that the HTC Touch Pro2 is not meant for casual users who check their email accounts only once a week. The HTC Touch Pro2 boasts superior data delivery and an enhanced Web-browsing experience, where you will also be able to use this as an impromptu GPS navigation device as well as location-based services. The 3.6″ color WVGA touchscreen display can slide back and tilt upwards to reveal a full-QWERTY keyboard that would definitely go some ways in helping one decide whether you like to type messages using a virtual or actual keyboard. The screen’s position and size is good enough for reading and composing email, surfing the Internet, running applications and playing games on-the-go. Other features include a 3.2-megapixel camera with autofocus capability, Straight Talk technology that integrates e-mail, voice and speakerphone experience into a simple manner that responds to e-mail via a call, making it a snap to organize conference calls from group e-mail.
There is no word on pricing, so we’ll just have to keep a keen eye out on this. Rest assured, the next 12 days ought to see more details revealed for the HTC Touch Pro2.

T-Mobile will be launching a 3G-enabled 8900-style BlackBerry around September. This looks to be the much-rumored BlackBerry Driftwood while one of our sources said it was Onyx. Codenamed either Onyx or Driftwood, this BlackBerry will be a 3G-enabled 8900 handset.
Here’s a recap of the specs:
*AWS 1700MHz + 2100MHz UMTS/HSDPA
*3.2 megapixel autofocus camera
*GPS
*Wi-Fi
*QWERTY keyboard
*Optical trackpad
*480×360 screen
*Carbon fiber-esque back battery cover (the whole back is a carbon fiber pattern apparently)
*Much sexier than the BlackBerry 8900
This is a prototype, and there’ll be many rumor before this thing gets launched. There are no pricing or release date details, but expect more on this soon.
T-mobile BlackBerry 8520 has a qwerty keyboard, the BlackBerry 8520 launching in July, This is great news. I’ll probably end up just getting my brother this BlackBerry instead of a 8900 since he isn’t too particular on what phone he has as long as it’s a BlackBerry and has a qwerty keyboard. This low-end BB 8520 really should be on TMO USA’s Prepaid line-up.

T-Mobile G1 v2 Coming Soon - New T-Moible Cell Phons
I wish the T-Mobile G1 v2 was a non Win-Mo phone that looked like the iPhone but had a slide out QWERTY, I like the design of this one. Hopefully the keyboard is easy to type on and the keys click well. If that happens to be the real thing I like the design, plus since iphone came out I always said a slider with a touchscreen will be the ultimate design this looks good.

A leaked picture has shown the new T-Mobile Renew. Motorola Renew is getting ready to launch in February, and it is made from a lot of renewable stuff. The device is apparently made from environmental friendly materials. Motorola Renew is only a low-end one, far from the likes of Samsung Memoir and BlackBerry Curve 8900
The device itself is pretty standard/basic. it should come with:
*MP3 player
*FM radio with RDS
*CrystalTalk technology
*MicroSD card support, up to 2GB
Unfortunately, pricing details are still unavailable.
A leaked photo has appeared of the new T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) Renew (you may remember the T-Mobile Renew on a leaked roadmap shot here). The device is set to be one of many devices launched by T-Mobile in the first quarter of 2009, with a launch this coming February.
By the looks of things, the Renew is a candybar… and it's 'proper name' is actually the MOTO W233 Renew. The device is apparently made from environmental friendly materials… No doubt the reason the leaked shot comes in that lovely green color.
"Exclusively from T-Mobile, the environmentally responsible MOTO W233 Renew is uniquely designed to reduce environmental impact by using sustainable materials in its design and packaging while at the same time delivering performance and quality customers rely on."
I hope the device will come in other colors, but don't be surprised if green is your only option… This is after all, a 'green' device! The device itself is pretty standard/basic, but if it is anything like the W231 (a previous gen device which looks to be almost identical), the W233 should feature MicroSD card support, FM radio with RDS, an MP3 player and some more solid basic features.
Pricing details are still unavailable, but I'd expect more exact specs to drop by mid to end of January. Stay tuned.
