Those who are still a bit skeptical about the existence of the Meizu M8 might have a change of heart after reading this post. Meizu has finally sent out a working demo of the great iPhone clone, the M8, to PCOnline for review hence this set of unboxing pictures. This also lays to rest all the speculation that it is all just hype and that it’s only a concept and not an actual real working device.
They haven’t released a review yet but IT168 has. According to them, it’s a pretty impressive piece of equipment despite obviously lacking originally in terms of overall design. For more live shots, you can head on over here.
They may have done a pretty good job in putting this little baby together, but while it does provide a taste of the iPhone life due to its similar exterior and UI, it does lack a major feature that has helped make the iPhone such a great success; the App Store.
Here’s a video below showing off the Meizu M8 in action. Unfortunately, it’s in Chinese so unless your fluent in the language, listening to the narration won’t do you any good.
For what its worth, the Meziu M8 is one sexy looking Windows Mobile-powered device. Word is it will go into full production this December so it’ll most likely debut in the market come early 2009. One can only hope it will reach the North American region, but we’re not closing our doors to the possibility.

Meizu has launched their new site today with a product page for Meizu M8 miniOne. At the site, you can have a 3D 360°ree; view on the device. Unfortunately the English website is unavailable at the moment.
