Sony Ericsson revealed a new upgrade model of the North American version of C510 namely the Sony Ericsson C510a.The phone itself has made its appearance on SE Canada’s official website recently. This GSM/HSDPA phone is very likely to be launched by Rogers, since they’re the only GSM carrier in Canada.
The specs include: a 2.2-inch TFT scratch-resistant display with 262K colors and 240 x 320 resolution, a 3.2MP camera with autofocus, face detection, geotagging and LED flash, a 100MB of internal memory, a micro M2 card slot, a media player, an FM radio with RDS, an auto-rotation, Google Maps, email, Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync, access NetFront browser and Bluetooth 2.0
The exact release date of the C510a is not known, but Canadian mobile users will probably be able to buy it in the next few months. Sony Ericsson C510 retails for about €200 ($272) in Europe
