Nokia has just officially announced the 5730 XpressMusic phone. The Nokia 5730 is the first XpressMusic phone from Nokia with a full QWERTY keyboard and it boasts of useful functions which can be quickly access through the phone’s homescreen.

The Nokia 5730’s homescreen can provide access to the phone’s music, contacts, games, email, and calendaring features. Its contacts bar can accomodate up to 20 contacts. It also provides direct access to music, N-Gage and other online applications. These applications include Facebook, Photos, Ovi contacts, maps, messaging and more.

A noteable feature of the Nokia 5730 is a music shortcut that lets you access all the music you stored on the phone’s storage memory. It also provides you with direct access to the Nokia Music Store, which Nokia is also relaunching together with the Nokia 5730. The Nokia Music Store gives access to music information and over-the-air downloads.

For gamers, the Nokia 5730 features dedicated gaming keys which provides access to Nokia’s N-Gage gaming site. The site will let you connect and compete with other N-Gage users.

Slated for a Q3 release, the Nokia 5730 will have an SRP of 280 EUR.
