Two new Kyocera mobile phones have been spotted on Virgin Mobile USA’s website. Their specs probably won’t get you jumping for joy but they’re nice options to consider, especially if you’re on a tight budget.

First off, the JAX is actually just a rebranded version of S1300 Melo. It’s a pretty basic mobile phone that comes with a mobile web browser and a speaker phone. Pricing wasn’t revealed, but we expect it to be pretty affordable considering that the other model released is richer in features and costs just $100. The X-tc comes with a slide-out QWERTY keypad, a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth, mobile web access, email, and microSD card support for additional storage. It also comes preloaded with applications that let you stay connected to social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook even when you’re on the road.

These aren’t exactly the cream of the crop, but if you’re cutting back on your expenses, one of these phones might just be the right one for you.
