We've seen smartphones in the past that are being offered with either Windows Mobile or Android as its operating system, but that was just overseas. Thankfully, someone finally decided to offer a similar product in the North American market.

Compulab is the company and the exeda is their product. Like its Asian counterparts, the exeda supports both Windows Mobile 6.1 and the Android OS. The exeda is a quad band GSM/GPRS, CDMA, 3G UMTS compatible smartphone that comes with a 3.5-inch VGA touchscreen that's readable even under the scorching heat of the sun, 2-megapixel camera with flash, QWERTY keypad, capacitive touchpad for navigation, a Marvell PXA270 520MB processor, GPS, WiFi 802.11g, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR support, 2 USB ports, RS-232 port, and a high capacity 3000mAh battery. It may not look as sexy as the other smartphone offerings out now in the market but it surely packs a punch when it comes to specifications.

No price just yet, but we'll find out more about it once it becomes available for purchase in March.
